JM14 mini jet engine kit is a light jet engine which can produce 14 lbs of thrust. It weighs only 970 grams (2.14 lbs.), which means it has an extremely efficient thrust to weight ratio of 6.54.
This engine boasts sufficient power for use in an RC jet aircraft, and it can be upgraded with a FADEC / AutoStart kit. JM14 is capable of reaching 160,000 RPM. The engine uses kerosene, diesel, or Jet-A, in addition to turbine oil for lubrication. The turbine wheel and exhaust nozzle are made of cast inconel, allowing them to withstand higher temperatures.
