It would definetly increase speed. But keep in mind the output of a jet engine will allow higher top end speeds but wont neccessarily increase your quickness off the line. Very cool bike BTW.

  KP35 is a static model for learning purpose. it has no significant thrust relative to its weight of 2.7lbs Total thrust value is aproximately ~2 lbs.

It's definitely legitimate. I've been waiting as well, I should have bought my kit when they were in stock last year, hopefully they have something available soon.
